Well after some measuring, I found I had to keep the
stock fork offset for clearance reasons, and I've decided
to rake the fork tubes rather then the stem. I've also
decided to keep the same fork spacing, so I wouldn't have
to make a new front axel or spacers. This should also
bring the price down quite a bit, although material still
costs upwards of $75.00 for aircraft certified 6061
T6 heat treated alluminum. I wouldn't use anything less
unlike most namebrand companies. Yesterday, I painted my
tank and new flat back fender primer black, and did some
other things. My bike looks seriously chopped now. Girl
bike my ass!! I especially like my new polished alluminum
side covers which I sell for just $10.00. plus S+H.
